Being a young adult means managing your time so well, showing up, meeting deadlines and making sure you don’t burn out. It’s safe to say that I have not been actually adulting well and haven’t had much time. I remember when I started this blog in undergrad, I always had time and Pam was always there to take photos of me. Life took a 360 and now it’s managing a 9-5 and running a blog that I have a great vision for. This has not been easy and because of exhaustion I just could not create content. I decided to just use my weekends to rest up and I’m really glad I did that for myself.

For the first time in a while, I did a shoot last weekend with Akho Makaba, the lady behind the brand Elamor.

First things first, it was so relaxing not having to think of an outfit to wear because she did the styling. I had absolutely no idea of what I was going to wear, but knowing her brand I was positive it was going to be beautiful, sophisticated, elegant and easy going at the same time.

She proved me so right with the look she had in mind for me. The blouse was everything, I doubt I have seen anything like it before. It has a vintage yet modern feel which makes it stand out. Akho decided I  wear it with the monochrome cullotes which have a comfortable fit. I found the combination so interesting because usually, I would have paired the blouse with a pencil skirt or formal pants. We did the extraordinary…

The pants are versatile because you can literally wear them with anything from a V-neck to an Audrey Hepburn formal blouse. Sneakers, pumps or heels will work and that the beauty of the pair. You do not have to stick to one way of dressing certain items. This is one of the reasons why I love the Elamor brand, there is a versatility to it that motivates one to be more creative and daring with their looks!

This look was really refreshing and a good comeback to content creation since my small sabbatical. The Elamor collection is perfect for any woman that loves being comfortable and stylish at the same time. Being comfortable is key and in this brand, you will always be on top of the game.

Hoping you guys enjoyed reading this post and loved this look. I will be going back to my regular blog posts and you will be able to interact more with my content as well. One thing I would really like to stress though is that:

It is vital to take care of your health and well-being. For bloggers, there is no shame in not creating content because you are exhausted. You can always create content when you have gained your mojo back! Oh and get you some fashionable and elegant pieces of clothing from Elamor!

So Much Love……
