Moving into a new environment, starting a new job and starting afresh can be overwhelming and you tend to slack in some areas. That has been me since January 2019. I moved to a new city and started a new job!  What a challenging experience but so exciting. Through all of that new business, my blog has kind of suffered because there was not much activity happening.

The first quarter has come to an end and I think I have a clearer picture of what is happening in my life and I can now focus more on this platform. I have been trying to find my voice in the Zimbabwean blogging scene, but after a while, I realized that the voice stays the same. This is who I am as an individual and I can stay relevant like that.

One of my new year’s resolutions was to interact more with Zimbabwe brands. I am proud to say that I have stuck to my word and my skincare routine is just Zim products and my hair care has become more natural. I have come to love my heritage and my roots more and that will be my theme for the year.

In terms of fashion, I rediscovered pieces from my mother’s closet and this blouse has been my absolute favorite. It has this vibrant print and I love how I can do a lot with it. It can be formal, casual and laid back as well.

I styled it with these pleated pants that I got from my older sister. She had told me about these a year or so ago, but I never got a chance to collect them. Finally did and I was so keen to showcase this.

What do you guys think of the look? It’s on the bold and experimental side, just like me.

It’s always good to take pride in who you are, where you come from and your creativity. Own your voice, style and who you are!

P.S I look forward to sharing more on this blog. Thank you to all those that read it each time there is a new post!

So Much Love…
